Adventures In Babysitting
Spread The Viralist

Chris Parker (Elisabeth Shue) agrees to baby-sit after her “dream” date stands her up. Expecting a dull evening, Chris settles down with three kids for a night of TV … and boredom. But when her frantic friend Brenda calls and pleads to be rescued from the bus station in downtown Chicago, the evening soon explodes into an endless whirl of hair-raising adventures! Babysitter and kids leave their safe suburban surroundings and head for the heart of the big city, never imagining how terrifyingly funny their expedition will become!

  1. born in 93 but this is a favorite in my family, due to my dad and uncles being 80s kids, awesome to see movies like this on Youtube! you just same that premium subscription yet again haha.

  2. "Handsome" John Pruitt is hands down the greatest character in this movie. I would even go so far as to say he's one of the greatest movie characters from the 1980s.

Seriously, a tow truck driver with only one hand and a heart of gold who becomes psychotic when he learns that his wife is having an affair. I WANNA WATCH THAT MOVIE!

  3. Everytime I watch a 80's comedy movie I get put in the best mood. I think about the 80's everyday of my life and it helps me cope with the horrendous world we live in today.

  4. I consider Chris's dance in the beginning to be one of the best "Character introduction" scenes in any movie. It's right up there with Willy Wonka in 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,' Rufio in 'Hook,' and Captain Jack Sparrow in the first 'Pirates of the Caribbean'!
Without a word of spoken dialogue, it gives us a look at Chris's personality, and makes us start to like her and root for her!

  5. If anybody’s chasing you and you get on an elevator, purposely mark the floor you DIDN’T get off at to throw them off the track.

  6. In The Karate Kid, she was hardly in any of it. She sure earned her pay in this movie – she was in practically every frame of the film.

  7. I liked the blues musicians, Chris, Sarah, Joe Gipp, Mr. Pruitt, Daryll, the college guy & Mr. Anderson. Didn't like Joe Gipp's 2 bosses, the gangsters on the train, Brenda, Chris's boyfriend Mike, Mrs Anderson & Dawson

  8. my favorite always my favorite movie and always will be my favorite movie always when he walked up to me and he asked me if I wanted to dance.

  9. For some reason I saw this when it first came out, even back then I thought it was a clever funny goofy little movie, innocent too, now after all these years I still found it funny, goofy and innocent, a good watch with a fun cast, worth the time still !!!
