Put back ‘kind’ in mankind by caring about the plight of animals in the Philippines. Anyone who lives here knows the sometimes horrible and cruel conditions that animals endure every day in this country, and being kind to them is only the beginning. It’s time that mankind accept responsibility for the four-legged friends we call pets, and help them get back to a place where they’re loved and cared for.

Pea, you are obviously doing your part to help. Videos like this can make a difference. I hope it has a positive impact.
Not when gas is $5 a gallon, eggs are almost $8 for 36,
40 billion to Ukraine
The list goes on and on
Earth
People
That’s the order of things and should be the only 2 things politics handles
Whose got time for dogs and cats and shit?
All this animal love
How come your not crying over the rats and other animals they experiment on?
Come on man
Where is PETA because they would be furious if they learned about this
Having just returned from Greece, it is absurd the number of stray cats in that country. Some look healthy, many do not. And people there seem mostly to consider the strays as simply part of the landscape. Spaying and neutering don't appear to be of concern.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
As you well know, when so many are living on an uncared for animal level, it is hard for them to get very excited about the welfare of animals when they are themselves living in absolute misery. Pea, as you know, the depths of absolute misery induced by Pandemic related lockdowns beyond what already existed, is beyond comprehension for most in the West. To those who have the ability to relieve the suffering around them and chose not to, well, may God have mercy on their souls.
So sad
There's so much I want to say about this vid, but all I'm going to say is I'm happy your cat is ok.
😥😥😥😥
It's the truth
God bless you Pea and everyone like you . You are a special person ate.
when I was there all the I adopted all the cats in the neighbourhood, when I opened the door in the morning all the cats came running because they knew I had some food for them. I’ve seen other videos about poverty in the Philippines and many of them have cats and dogs + many children. Why when you can’t feed your family you want to have pets too. If you can’t love and feed your pet, please don’t get one.
My heart is bleeding…..
Hi Pea this is Roy from Scotlsnd. I have viewed many of your YouTube vlogs Pea and as an animal lover i think this is one of your very best videos. Very well done for bringing this to the attention of your fellow filipinas and to people all around the world.
I love Filipina girls but I am vegan and couldn’t bare to live with such horrible animal cruelty, but I would try to help if I could create a shelter.
This happens all over the world even here in the USA. There is no excuse for this. A person that abuses animals, in my opinion, can often abuse other people – if they can get away with it. Society is not headed in the right direction. Look at world politics – is it not getting scary?
me and my gf have six dogs we care for them like they are family . don t bring me to a animal shelter because i wil bring al to my home .
You're supposed to slow down when its bumpy. Love you though lol
I love you pea you have a good heart I love animals too
Do they still have the bullet scam going on. Where the luggage handler slips a bullet into your luggage. Customs Officer is waiting for you to shake you down for money. To overlook the bullet? I decided to skip this presentation. My two cats Whiskers and Buttercup thought it was best to avoid the Drama.
Thank God I live In the USA where animals are protected, There is jail time for those who abruse animals.
In 2017 I found a dead dog at the corner of our house in a walled subdivision in Meycauayan. I asked my gf what to do about it. She asked construction workers that worked maybe 20m from the dead decaying dog to bury it.
Ofcourse nothing happened. People don't care. Maybe it never was removed, I haven't visited the house since then.
In a country where there's little or no respect for the lives and deaths of poor people, respect for animals isn't to be expected.
Recently the Filipinos choose to have 'The son of the family of thieves' as their president. Don't expect any change for the better in the Philippines soon😔.
I own a game bred American pit bull terrier and im no soft liberal , but my dog is my buddy, tough old soldier that he is . Im in bacolod in a couple of months, I will see if there is an animal shelter there i can help
I don't know where to begin. But good job I think you do right in showing the problem that your country has. I'd like to think that it's not as bad in America; but in America people do mistreat animals here too. I do not have a dog right now because I don't have a fenced in yard and I do not like chaining any animal up. I don't care what animal it is dog, horse, cows etc. Thanks again for educating the world.
Thank you for showing compassion, care, respect and love to our four legged "man's best friends". The world certainly needs more Miss Peas'…I Respect and admire your character…
To start with my beautiful gorgeous friend you look great in this dress 👗 😍 😘 hello beautiful.
Yes I have seen this all over in the islands
Ok,I see it Pea. Sorry,I always do that to u.. posting a question before I see the full vlog just to find out that u answered my question to begin with lol
Sorry, I can't watch this Miss Pea.
Them many awful ways animals can be treated in the Philippines & Asia in general, is the one single thing that I hate about Asia.
Any Western animal lover, really struggles with it.
Let's hope there becomes more compassion for them before too long, it's certainly needed.
Whilst in d Philippines , I realised alot of stray and malnourished dogs, cats/animals /pets and like u said many neglected by their owners . Many sickly animals loitering around . Hope more people like u will share their concerns and do something for d sickly undernourished animals 🙏🙏🙏.Ora is d epitome of a caring Filipina . We salute u Pea🙏🙏👍🏼👍🏼♥️♥️
We have the same issue here in the United States Miss Pea. People here will get a pet for their kids and then they wont take care of their pet or they allow them to roam freely and get into trouble.
Thank you Pea for the courage to point this out. Most everyone on here has said what I was thinking so not sure I can add anything new. I’ve watched every video of yours to this point and that won’t change. Thank you for everything that you do and as always I look forward to your next video later in the week. 💕🐈🐕🇵🇭
Reminds me of the times when I rescued animals around here. I was planning on going to my ex girlfriend's house, when I saw a stray dog with a collar on. His nails were overgrown, his fur coat have fleas, and he looked lost. He let me pick him up, and I took him to the local dog warden. He stayed at the shelter for months, but eventually he was adopted by an older couple and their grandson. The shelter named him Clyde, and he is living a much happier life compared to the one that he lived before. There was also this tortoise calico cat, who I tried to grab from the streets for months. She was young and obviously a street cat. I did not see her for months, and eventually I saw her again but this time in horrible condition. Her eyes were covered and crusted, and I'm not even sure how she could even see. I used multiple cans of cat food, but eventually I got a hold of the cat. I then called The humane society, and she was immediately taken into intensive care. It turns out she had some variation of pink eye, and possible worms alongside fleas. After her recovery, she was completely different individual. She was very friendly and might have known that I was the one that rescued her. She was adopted almost immediately and you could see the happiness on her face. Thank you for all that you do to support these poor animals in need.
We had a similar problem 50 years ago in the US. It took public awareness and caring to change. Alot of famous celebrities ( like Bob Barker on Price is Right) were very active for many years doing this.
If you’re doing a “public service announcement” like this it would be nice to have the masks off so we can benefit from full facial expression, which helps in understanding and your words with accents.
Pea, u walk d talk. What u have done is commendable and Noble . To those critics , what d heck. God bless u Pea & family 🙏🙏
Thanks for having the courage to point out the problem of animal neglect and abuse in the Philippines. I am a avid animal lover and have spent countless hours helping at the local shelter in my area. It is so refreshing to see there is a least one Filipino that also cares about animals as deeply as I do.
Pea, d truth hurts but it's wise to tell d truth, nonetheless. We salute u for ur compassion for fella humans and d animals .. 🙏👍🏼👍🏼♥️♥️
Pea is the sweetest. I wish I had a pea
You are such a animal lover, its good for you to know that there are places in the world where animals are treathed well..
Thanks!
Send me a link for there contact info please
Makes me very angry to see the bad treatment of animals and I have this lifelong infinity with cats as was cat raised as a child growing up by my late mother and father. Some while ago I buy a farm out near the coastal town within Iloilo and have 3 people who I look after buy land and slowly build the farmhouse on it. I see cats that come to us over the years and some can be saved and others live must be hundreds over the last 8 to 10 years and are also very stressful to see an animal die and mostly I find all these years of infection of a kitten at a young age that dies early and not treatable sometimes. Other older cats get treated by a veterinary clinic in Iloilo city its an ordeal as the farm is like 90km away from the city of Iloilo to the city veterinary blood test then at times they get put on drips and overnight stays in the vet to recover many cats I have saved lives only because of money at the right time to get treatment. It is something I do privately and never seek charity or other people's hand out for this. It's a long story but I will end it here.
Pea, when you were one breath short of tears, it almost brought me to tears myself. Even though I love dogs, I refuse to own one. This is because of my lifestyle dictated mainly by my own health issues. I am Photophobic (extreme sensitivity to light, causes migraines and if not protected, seizures). Because of this condition, I mainly spend most of my time indoors, and only go out when I absolutely have to. That is no life to expect a pet to live under. I live in a smaller apartment, this gives a pet no room to exercise, not a very good thing to do to an animal. My disability pension does not have enough at the end of it to feed an animal, so there is no way I could responsibly own one. And being in an apartment building, keeping an animal penned up would make it hard to keep it quiet, making the overall enjoyment of life for my fellow tenants decreased.
My G0d-Daughter is a qualified Vet-Tech Rehabilitation Specialist, and I would not want her to be disappointed in me for keeping an animal under those conditions.
Thanks for always bringing out every side of every story you cover in your channel. Even though you speak from the Philippines, the plight you resonate is a world wide issue that really needs to be addressed.
I have one question for you though. How is it that such a huge heart could fit into your little frame? It must be tough to breathe sometimes with your heart taking up so much space in your body not leaving any room for your lungs.
May you receive many blessings as you bless others with your channel Pea. Your generosity and caring nature is the bright spot of this story. Without that , this would have been so much harder to watch.
Sorry….can't watch cruelty to animals. Too difficult. Dogs over humans….every time. Humans are disgusting
Wow Pea..
That's so sweet of u to help them animals.
Though we hunt squirrel and deer as well as fish, to purposely be cruel to animals blows my mind. And because I live between the Philippines and the USA each year, no longer have pets. And while we butcher chickens, just can’t get into the custom, the joy of cock fighting, no matter how dumb a chicken is.
And as I see the inner connected nature that culture has on people, wonder about the weird disregard for life that surfaces in the driving habits of Pinoys. Running without head-lights at night and passing on blind curbs both frightens and angers me. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve have to tell taxi drivers/motorcycle taxis to turn on the damn lights or I’m getting out, or to slow the hell down . . .
As a guest in your beautiful country, I keep my opinions to myself there, but have commented to a local priest before that the Church seems to have missed the boat on several levels as corruption seems to be everywhere, out in the open and generally excepted. Yeet corruption is a form of stealing from your neighbors. If I compare it to the US, in the US the corruption is in the hands of the power and leaks down a little bit, but in the RP, it seems to be at all levels, from bank tellers, meter-maids, shop keepers . . . Yet if I didn’t have kids and grandkids here, would put down permanent roots in the Philippines. And do feel welcomed as a part time expat
It's ashame that that happened and I'm sorry to say that that happens here too
