Nasi Lemak and Durian are MUST eat Malaysian food highlights! They will make you cry out in happiness! I ate them with Kyle Le too! We found the best Nasi Lemak stall in Penang, and It brought us joy!
I flew to Penang from China to eat the food. It’s that good here. Penang food is a notch up from Malaysian food in general. If you compare Penang food with Kuala Lumpur food, Penang food will win hands down. The same goes if you do a Malaysian food taste test and a Singapore food taste test, Malaysian food will win. But the ultimate food winner will always be Penang. That’s why I came here. To eat. Penang will never let you down on a food trip. Tourism is booming in Penang and the food is a number one attraction. This time, I ate an amazing Nasi Lemak and a beautiful Musang King Durian, which cost nearly $60 because it’s out of season in the winter. That was fine with me, I’m addicted.
I met up with Kyle Le to film our eating experience and to chat about our lives as food and travel lovers. This was a lot of fun!

If you do not like durian, you are not Malaysian because there are many types of durian. Some of them not "stinky" yet still delicious.

Hi and its a pleasure to watch your travelling videos. I am Malaysian and i would like to recommend you the absolutely great roti canai in Penang which only the locals know about it. Its near Komtar and i hope you can check it out. About durian is being banned in some restaurants or stalls is because of its smell and some people are not very familiar and dislike it. That its why some people will reach out to you if you eat at the places that have notified about 'NO' durian. That's all. Have fun in Malaysia.
