4,000 beagles: Historic transport spares dogs from animal testing
Spread The Viralist

Our Animal Rescue Team, with the support of our shelter and rescue partners, is removing approximately 4,000 beagles from a mass breeding facility that received multiple violations for issues such as inadequate veterinary care and insufficient food. Many of these dogs were bound for animal testing laboratories across the country. This is a massive undertaking and we urgently need your support to help us transport, care for and find homes for these dogs as quickly as possible.

  1. God will bless you all, there will be a hell🔥with 👹 for the horrible cruel people who have been involved in putting these dogs/puppies through, evil

  2. I know that y'all are professionals at handling things like this but it is possible that most of them may have developed PTSD because of where they came from. It really has taken a toll on their life. So just letting y'all know because the Beagle Freedom project has been sending out flyers and brochures about PTSD in the Beagles. Because of that they did it for the shelters that has a few of them because they don't know. And with lots of love and lots of patience and care these animals will hopefully overcome their PTSD.

  3. I'm willing to adopt two I've got nine dogs I've got the perfect I mean perfect dog environment. Where's the best place to apply I'm in eastern North Carolina. I also have accommodations for two horses that need to be rescued. I wouldn't do it unless they needed my love but I got love and I got a pasture

  4. Thank you to everyone who has helped with this rescue! I love Beagles! I had one when I was little named Millie, she was the sweetest, most loving dog I have ever had. She was my best friend and I still to this day over 40 years later miss her so much ❤

  5. Are the labs who would have taken these pups just going to shut down? Just abandon the work they needed these dogs for? Won't these dogs just be replaced by dogs from a approved breeding facility? This is a feel good story until you stop and think for 2 minutes. Why is anyone allowed to use an animal with the intelligence and emotional depth of a dog in this way? It's barbaric

  6. Beagles are SO Intelligent SO loving. They don't deserve to be used for EXPERIMENTAL WORK. Nor does any other creatures. Thank you for all you do.

  7. Just goes to show you breeding facilities need to end. Obviously the government don't give a damn, since they are a part of it, the miserable, deceitful, pathetic rganization. Awww look at those precious sweeties. Thank you for rescuing these beautiful, sweet creatures.

  8. Ces laboratoires sont un scandale. Ils font leurs expériences sur de pauvres animaux sans défense. Ces gens sont des sadiques et des tortionnaires en puissance. Comment peuvent ils se regarder le matin ? 💔💔😠😠🤬🤬🇨🇵

  9. So what, you do all this hard work and the companies that use and abuse them just start all over again? These companies should be heavily penalised and banned from ever using animals for testing. If it can't be done safely then it shouldn't be done at all. If said companies are using such chemicals that they need animal testing, then I'd be questioning whether we should be using them period. Society needs to really think about the direction we are heading in. I applaud you all. Thank you and just awesome that these pups get another chance.

  10. People dump their dogs out here in rural areas of the county and The Humane Society will not help us at all. We asked. These dogs, along with countless others, have no homes yet The Humane Society brought scores of these puppies in state to locations nearby. It is like, why can't you guys help rural areas with abandoned strays? Just because they aren't these little purebred puppies?

We get told since we are not in the city no one, including the Humane Society will take these strays and they always stay around our houses looking for food so they stay around.

  11. Thank you HSUS for all you do every day. One day ( hopefully soon) these subhuman, soulless, things that abuse animals in any way will meet their maker. A "special" shout out to Dr. Anthony Falsi. 😈😈
