25. When I was very young in my first apartment I got a terrier but she kept climbing out of the enclosed kitchen to poop and tear up the carpet. I had ZERO business getting a dog.
    I surrendered her, I cried the whole time I felt so guilty, and I went back every day to see if she was adopted. She was once the weekend arrived.
    I still think of her, that was a whopping 25 years ago.

29. This is a good example of don't judge a book by its cover. Instantly we want to berate and shame the owner for their treatment of a dog, when sometimes its just from lack of knowledge or resources. However saying that im not standing up for what they did, imo owners should do their research or not get a dog at all.
