Spread The Viralist

This 2019 documentary tells the stories of young women coerced into prostitution – and follows one police unit that’s committed to rooting out sexual exploitation.

Award-winning director Jezza Neumann and producer Lauren Mucciolo (“Poor Kids”) embed with the Phoenix police unit that’s tackling child sexual exploitation, offering an inside look at the lucrative industry through unique access to a series of undercover, high-stakes police operations. They also film with young women who have escaped the trade. Using fake online ads as decoys, the Phoenix police unit targets both the traffickers luring young women into prostitution, and the “buyers” – many of whom claim to not know that the girls they interact with are victims of trafficking. With extensive and intimate access to local law enforcement, prosecutors, service providers and the women themselves, the film shines a light on the hidden reality of sex trafficking in America.

  1. And to think, those in the extreme echelons of power will ALWAYS keep this going. It was never meant to be slowed or minimized or stopped. It's no different from those trying to save the whales or the oceans, IT WILL NEVER, EVER happen. Do your research you will see the truth.

  2. Although I agree with the documentary, I don't agree with the scene where they were getting people for simply looking into prostitution. If it's consensual adults over 18 with no pimps involved I don't think it should be illegal

  3. These young kids need to drop the cliché, “ That nothing is going to happen to me “ and start believing that, yes nothing good is going to nothing safe for me is going to happen! I totally believe if the clients are held accountable then the demand will decrease.

  4. This is only a pretension of concern!!! Both "sex trafficking" and sex tourism is the result of "Democracy" corrupting governments to steal from their people, plus create job allowed to pay meager wages and keep the people in misery for the moneyed sicko's that travel to buy little school girls. Once Cuba was that kind of whorehouse, now Nicaragua and Venezuela have to clamp down to not fall in that condition. The others are having a field day, with their dress sizes, advertising is the new style.

  5. 3 months not even prison.. Makes me sick they can rape children take women and children in venon do whatever they want and destroy their lives something they have to carry for the rest of their lives. Yes. And they get nothing probation is probation is f**** nothing. 3 months and jail is f**** nothing. They should be f**** shot.

  6. All true Christians all true Muslims get kidnapped and tricked to going into suicide hospital that CIA designed through out the world 🤣😂

  7. Demand will never go away, neither will willing suppliers. There should be a legal framework for willing participants on both ends to find each other. My body my choice.

  8. Living in Phoenix I’d love to work undercover to catch these traffickers.. I’ve been homeless and the amount of men who have tried to solicit sex from me while I was homeless is a lot ..

  9. Do a better job preparing the victim for the process they have to go through to better assure the perpetrator is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. They don't deserve a plea deal, they need to go to prison for life, no parole. Your sorry, you got caught you pedophile pimp.

  10. If youre victimized as a child and now someone who victimized others as an adult, youre no longer a victim, youre a criminal, and the mitigating circumstances should not apply, gives too many criminals a break. Prison sentencing should be life, no parole. If the victim dies, the predator should also get the death penalty.

  11. USA facts. Sex trafficking in the USA, your number one predator is underage peers of the victim paid by the sex trafficker to turn them into paid prostitutes. The family members also sex traffic their children. Children forced to do this are victims, not criminals. In the end we have too many incompetent law enforcement agencies not doing their job and too many lax laws and too many government leaders not making this a priority. The perpetrators are pedophile pimps and so are the people who rape them, because a minor can't legally consent to sex. These victims often come from dysfunctional, abusive and neglectful families and the failed, Child Protective Service system is part of the problem that continues this because they have too many workers not doing their job and too many pro parent rules, especially, under reunification.

  12. All those hours spent by team of cops, and when they catch the bad guy it will be very light punishment. It should be an eye for an eye. A virgin daughter is a dignity, sanctify of your sanity, in the eastern world can be death punishment.

  13. The illegals pouring over our border will keep selling sex more popular, yet no lawmaker in DC seems to care. Closing the border will help save many girls from going through this horrible fate.

  14. I love in a very small town in Alabama and one of my friends has a daughter that's been missing for many many years .She had gotten into some bad things when She was grown up and some say She was tafficed t that a dope dealer murdered her .She's a very pretty young girl ,only in her early twenty's when She went missing .Her parents have been friends of mine since before She was born and it's devastating for them every single day and it's been years now and they have no idea where She is r what happen to her .The police didn't really look for her like they should have because She was into some drugs and things like that .She grew up in a very loving home and just started hanging out with kids that were into drugs and drinking but She's never hurt anyone but her Mom's heart and was so young . It doesn't matter if it's a small town r large city it happens everywhere and some have already been arrested here so it could have been what happen to her .

  15. You should see how many homeless people there are right now in 2022 in a Phoenix , I think the problem is getting worse may Christ be with all of us

  16. And now, all of these types of criminals are being let out of jail by the dumb democratic state officials (aka politicians) 🤬😡 If the police are dragging these girls through court, they better protect the girls from being sought out for revenge from these pimps!
