The death toll caused by a Russian military jet that crashed into a residential building shortly after taking off near the border with Ukraine has reportedly reached at least 13, according to the Russian news agency Interfax, which cited a senior official.

Video and photographs uploaded to social media on Monday showed a residential building engulfed in flames in Yeysk, a port and resort town in Russia south of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, across the Sea of Azov.

Ok, actual comment. The flash before the plane hits the apartment block was the ejection seat. No other visible damage to the plane before that. Lost power or fuel and must have run way short of the runway.
I can't tell whether they hit power lines or had birds flame out the engines
The jets can't stay in the sky and the tank turrets love being in the sky Russia have got it the wrong way round.
If you slow the film down you can see the plane hitting a power cable, which stays intact but sways after contact. The plane was doomed anyway at that height. RIP those killed, at least in death we are all equal.
