This hippo was the most aggressive african animal we’ve ever seen charging us 5 times! but sealing the deal with a bow on such a giant animal is truly a bucket list hunt of mine, tho extremely dangerous hunt, no one was injured, Thank God.

How much does a hunt like this cost to go on?
I am ngl, I was a little conflicted whilst watching the video. As someone who cares about animals, my relationship with hunting is different to most. I am on the hunting to eat (or pest population control) side of things vs hunting for sport.
On one hand, Hippos as a whole are listed as vulnerable, so we should protect them and not hunt any species like them for sport. But I can appreciate that this was a big goal of yours.
On the other hand, weāve been hunting, as a species, for 100k+ years, so itās not like what you did was wrong. The hippo was of old age as well, so I can also appreciate that you didnāt go after a young hippo bull/cow to complete your goal. I am not sure what happened to the hippo afterward, but if the body didnāt go to waste, then there is 100% no problem. Definitely could fed quite a few people.
