Initially wanted to buy a specific dog breed for a predictable personality for our family w small kids…couldn't find the RIGHT breed. A friend said, "why pay someone's mortgage for a puppy mill animal. I NEVER heard of "mills" or overbreeding. Our journey is the opposite of how we began. We are continually & joyfully surprised at the personality of the rescue dogs (& cats) who chose OUR family!
