Lesson for us untrained boxers out there. You can't pull off a "long guard". Go with a cross guard. They can break their hand on your elbow. Most amateurs aren't going to punish the body which is wide open. This is your best hope of not getting slept. Plus you can use the elbows offensively in mma or on the street which is another drawback of a cross guard in boxing (lack of offensive capability).

Hands too heavy. Once Diesel recognized that old boy wasn't really in the fight, he could have made an easy takedown and submission. Was supposed to be MMA after all. Looked more like two dudes (well, one) just throwing haymakers.

It's good to be on defense and block and Perry and everything but you have to let off shots and you can't stay in one place it's or you're just like a heavy bag and especially if you get a flurry out in the face and you're getting rocked you got to go in and try to grab if possible and close the gap
