  1. Not as keen on these as the other things you do, like the ghost-hunting. I think those are the best, and you should do more of those. Just sayin'…

  2. Only thing you didn't cover unless I missed it was how lucky we are that it happened where it did because if it had happened over a large city even in 1908 it would have killed a lot of people.

  3. love the episode!
though I did laugh sullenly when they were talking about how long it took for scientists to start investigating

    "maybe it wasn't their priority"

wellll lemme see, we had WW I on our hands, followed by a revolution and subsequent civil war, then the hot mess the young Soviet Union was, some hunger…

  4. Ryan, would be cool if you did Dyatlov Pass again. It was seven years ago since you covered it but I'm sure new things have come to light and it would be awesome to do on the new channel. Also .. it's a scary ass incident and really is a mystery.

  5. I'm leaning toward it being a comet. Comets aren't just ice, they can contain enough rocky material to show up in the fragments that have been found. Still, most of it would have vaporized in the atmosphere, and the water landing in a swampy area wouldn't have looked out of place. The heat generated in the atmosphere could have been enough to cause the charring, while the water itself would have put the flames out. And since all the material leftover from a comet impact would not look out of place on Earth, it makes sense as to why evidence is so hard to find.

  6. DEBRIEF Q: Who made the decision to move stuff around the set each episode? Is there a method to the madness? Because my fiancé is very upset he couldn’t find Power Rangers 😂
Also, we came up with a drinking game for Mystery Files, Puppet History, Too Many Spirits, and Ghost Files and idk where on the internet to put the rules 😅

  7. I guess its true. Americans will do anything to not use the metric system. Peanut butter jar. Lol

  8. Absolutely love the ol' ghoul boys, however I gotta say there doesn't need to be a crater with an airburst, an airburst is where the object explodes above the ground, which is what happened with the Tunguska asteroid, it wouldn't create a crater but would cause a lot of damage, usually more so than with a direct impact event. The same thing, although manmade, can be seen with the bombing of Hiroshima, there was no crater, only leveled city.

  9. I love you but I cannot consume content related to russia at all. It's too triggering. Catch ya boys next time.

  10. For the debrief: Did you hear the theory it was Nikola Tesla playing around with energy transmission, and particularly a test of an "energy weapon" into the ground that was meant to cross great distances?

  11. My theory is that a Yeti ripped a Herculean fart so powerful that it had the force of a nuclear bomb going off
Edit: I love Shane's energy in this episode! His peanut butter comparisons were spot-on!

  12. I have watched them for so long, that whilst Shane was presenting, my brain still heard Ryan's calming deep voice. 😅
