Arriving in West Sichuan was a breath of fresh air compared to Chengdu. Huge mountains, fresh food, and very friendly people. I found this little shack on a day hike and enjoyed their “lamb skewers”.

I had an amazing trip to the Siguniangshan mountain range, just a 7 hour bus ride west of Chemgdu. The air was unbelievably fresh, and the food was delicious too. After hiking for around 4 hours in the Changping valley, we arrived at a friendly shack where a lady was selling fresh and spicy lamb skewers and instant noodles. We couldn’t say no, we were just so hungry from our hike!

Lamb must be plentiful. I’m not sure why we don’t eat it here in Kansas every day. Mostly beef and pork and chicken here.

Packaged soup? I guess seeing where your at and all, that's probably all you could get. The skewers looked ok whether they were chicken or lamb. I wouldn't rate this as a 5 star restaurant for sure. lol
