Most common mistakes to avoid on the Driving Test

Hello Guys welcome to another video of DRIVING TV!
I wanted to share with you guys the last step when it comes to getting that license, which is taking the DMV Road test.

While this can be nerve-wracking for all parties involved, it’s essential to be prepared for this test just like they would for any other test.
While some mistakes are allowed during your road test at the DMV, they will still have points subtracted from your score if you make them.

Listen up carefully, these are the most common mistakes that new drivers make during their driver’s test. These are important for you to know so you can make sure you don’t lose points.

Here’s the list:
Improper lane changing.
Changing lanes in an intersection.
Not keeping both hands on the wheel.
Confusion at four-way stops.
Forgetting your turn signals.
Rolling stops.
Distracted driving.
Lack of steering control.
Driving too slowly.
Driving too fast for conditions.
Following too closely.
Braking too hard.
Not checking mirrors.

  1. Leaving a comment bc my test is in 9 hours! Ahhhh I’m nervous but I’m also a little confident. Hopefully I don’t forget everything I’ve learned so far bc of being nervous 😭

  2. fact about distracted driving

Evidence shows that drivers whose attention is diverted away from the driving task for more than 2 seconds at a time are at increased risk of a crash.

  3. Y’all I passed my test first try. Don’t even stress over it just be a safe driver even if you make mistake but you’re a safe driver you’ll still pass

  4. Im taking my test today and im super nervous, but i think i can do it. I'll give an update after i take the test. Update: I PASSED!!!!!!

  5. I remember watching all these videos when it was time for me to take my test failed 3 times now I’m a pro driver 👍🏽👍🏽

  6. I didn't pass my second driving test, even though I'm always careful, I park and drive very well, but they constantly drop me and my friend out of carelessness, it's really hard to get a driver's license in New York.

  7. They are three things that they missed in this video… I don’t know if this applies today, but when I got my drivers license back in the day if you got into the car on the driver side, you feel the test automatically even before it began… simple reason because it is dangerous to get in on that side because of traffic… when you are backing up, you do not look in your rearview mirror you turn your head and physically look back because that is the way you are going…when making a left turn you are to wind up in the left lane and signal to the right when it is safe to do so
