So many people called us about this dog over the last few weeks. So many neighbors put food out for her. We KNOW she and her puppies are alive today because so many kind people kept her fed and called with sightings.
We finally found her hideout and her puppies. She gave a warning growl, but never lunged. She is the kindest, gentlest mama. Her babies are going to foster now, they are too old to keep nursing. Mama Muffin is ready to go to foster now too, where she can get endless massages and spoiling. She did it. The stressful living nightmare is over.
What a strong, brave, selfless girl. We are in awe of her strength.

I live 25 minutes or so from St Louis and thank you for helping these lovely animals. I am a cat person and my Spike died not long ago. I miss him horribly but after 1year I need a cat in my life. Again. I have always had a cat with me since 1978. Do u have cats maybe 5 or so yrs old? I want an older cat. Like me! Ha. I live in a lovely place near there.

I commend you for your work rescuing animals. Not only are you saving these beautiful souls, you're restoring people's faith in humanity after the outrage we feel knowing most of these animals were abandoned by their owners. I do wonder though why you didn't take a little more time with her and let the babies eat first since they were so hungry and had been waiting for her? Also, it was dangerous to back her into a corner like that – never a good idea with a dog you don't know, who's afraid of you and is protecting puppies. Then you dragged her away from her puppies – which worried her unnecessarily until they were reunited. The dog doesn't know your intentions so I would have befriended her a bit longer and given her a chance to trust you and acclimate to your presence first. In any case, these are suggestions, not criticisms.
I love watching these videos❤These ladies do a fantastic job rescuing these beautiful dogs and their babies! The pitbulls are always so grateful and sweet as can be!!
