A 17-year-old girl and her dog were rescued after escaping their flooded Kentucky home. Chloe Adams was home alone as floodwater started to fill her one-story house. The teen put the dog in a plastic container on top of a couch cushion and pushed it through the rushing water to her neighbor’s rooftop five hours later, her cousin paddled to the rescue in a kayak. The dog was rescued first followed by Adams.

This is Beyond cute, how they grew up 2gether and now something tragic happened but still they help eachother!

Putting your dog first after being trapped on a rooftop π₯Ί
Thank god theyβve been saved
I'd pet that dog.
That is love, beautiful human being
of course a dog always come before the human!
I would do the same for my cat – no hesitation.

Well the rooftop wasn't flooded
She faced life and death situation but has little to no drama compared to SJW Woke Liberals crying for the pain of slavery.
I think inside come up with these random nicknames
wHAT TOXIC COMMENTS?? Where were her parents– 5 hours is a long time for teen and pup on a rooftop.
Man, my cousins would have left me to drown π
5 hoursπ₯Ί my dogs would have left me even if they canβt swimπ
She deserves a medal π
I would have done the same
It was so wholesome how she was holding the dog in her arms and keeping her safe π₯Ίπ

So adorable
Can y'all imagine how many dogs and people had to go thru this and didn't make it. She's lucky God bless.
Smart girl!
You should protect your mother dad and sibilingd
She is my favorite human in the world, that is amazing
itβs so scary being in a flood with a 1-story house. iβm so happy her cousin saved her that would have been so scary, if no one saved her, then for me it would be over.
But all the poor streetcats T-T
As animal owner id put my animals first if I was in the same situation
The untrained and pure instincts for human survival is almost beautiful in a way
Hope they're both okay and home safe
Hey sandy
I was so scared that night but I was not near the area but I did not know where my cousin was at because he lives down there so I called everyone until he called me at the nearest Walmart then my mom was freaking out because her friend was missing for 2 days but was found on a hill under a tarp so rain would not make her wet
I'm not crying… you're crying too. Oh my goodness this young woman is blessed to have her faithful dog but will need much help after losing everything. It's so bittersweet to say the least.
17 is legal pops.
just awful…I don't think my cat and I would survive that situation.
Aww I love this , made my day β€οΈ
Amen for these people
Brave girl, a hero
