Matthew Mitcham made diving history at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. At the Men’s 10m platform, the Australian, who was in second place after 5 out of 6 dives, needed the highest score dive in diving history to beat Zhou Luxin of China – and he delivered!

  1. Are you allowed to cowboy in diving or is there a deduction for it? Or is it not considered cowboying if you keep your feet together?

  2. crazy to think that at my local pool a normal girl who dives off 5meters creates nothing but bubbles when she goes in but never gets a chance to prove herself cause Olympics BIAS lol, there are people out there far better than most these clowns.

  3. Chinese guy gets a 77. dive from a 3.4 tarif, disgusting to get marked down so badly by the judges, I mean Judge1 marked him at 6.5 ffs, then marked Mitcham as a 10!

  4. I saw that dive competition live on TV. I saw him beat the Chinese. It was neck and neck then he just ripped it. He was also adorable. SO cute. Hope he's somewhere happy and living his best life.

  5. I am looking for swimsuits of these diving or jumping athletes. Where can I find swimsuits in this cut and this mould? How do I look for them? Which brand, which model? I'll search by typing what.

  6. I think this song is called Take Me To The Water. I remember listening to it a long time ago and now I can’t find it anywhere.

  7. I've always been skeptical about this dive score. It's a beautiful dive, but I still think the judges wanted to make sure the Chinese got robbed of the sweep.

  8. I don't really see how this dive is better than the other dives. A little explanation with some slomos would have been nice.

  9. They both seem impressive to me. I don't see how one is better than the other. I guess there are some sad little people that scrutinize every little movement they make. In the end they'll probably be swayed by whichever athlete is the more marketable spokesperson to be the face of the sport.

  10. The dive @1:29 shown in side view, and the following shot @1:37 head on are no actually the same dive at all. The first had a full twist, the second had none. So which one was the last, and record scoring dive? I'm assuming that it's the one @1:29.
