2. The officer may not have seen the passenger situation very clearly, so he may not have been “lying.” It seems this whole time the officer was within his legal rights in the entire scenario. The child was in the wrong.

    The child is at fault also, when I was sixteen I always had my license with me and registration and insurance numbers were in the glove box.
    This was just silly, both parties accelerated this whole encounter beyond all reason.

First things, first, Officer Stinson, as well as the other two officers violated fourth first fifth and third amendment rights in my opinion this officer should lose qualified immunity, as well as both other officers that illegally detained as well as illegally searched this child’s car for no in fraction other than his pompous attitude as a police officer, who believes he’s above the law in this case in my opinion, the officer should be sentenced to no less than 10 years in prison and have to pay a minimum of $500,000 of his own money and the city, allowing this officer to use his authority in this manner should be charged for all four of the amendment violations that word, adhere to hear which would result in a lawsuit in the amount of no less than $2.9 million allocated towards the child
