8.10am the first site of Hamas fighters in the distance
8.48am people running all around
If they had left the site within the first hour no one would have been killed.

Hamas does not equal Islam. They are Muslims but not everything they do is in accordance with Islam. (I am MUSLIM so this I know for certain). Also not every Muslim supports them. Some may support them completely. Some totally reject them. Others may support some of what they do and reject other things they do.
I also know the Israeli government does not equal Judaism and not all of their actions are in accordance to Judaism. Also some Jews may completely agree with the Israeli government, some completely reject them and others agree with some of their actions and reject other actions.
In addition note every Palestinian is in agreement with Hamas violent actions against civilians (in any form) nor is every Israeli in agreement with the Israeli governments violence against civilians (in any form).

The context of Israeli & Hamas Actions:
Before 1947 on the same land Israelis call home it used to be the home of the Palestinians (not just the West Bank and Gaza). The Palestines did not hand over their land it was taken by force by Israel (technically stolen). THIS IS THE ROUTE CAUSE OF ALL SUBSEQUENT PROBLEMS BETWEEN BOTH SIDES.
After the land was stolen a number of terrible war crimes from Israel ensued. These actions were responded to be terrible acts of terrorism by Hamas and other Palestinian groups.
Israel claims everything it is doing is always in self defence and to ensure the country of Israel is not wiped out. The Palestinian groups claim their actions are based on armed resistance to occupation and a struggle to reclaim their homeland stolen in 1947 – 1949 by Israel.

Once the facts are clear and the context is clear neither sides actions should surprise anyone. As both sides have often gone beyond what is justified in war and have targeted civilians (while claiming they do not).

Either Israel hands the country of Israel over to the Palestinians and admits they did steal the land between 1947 – 1949. This solution is in my opinion very unrealistic for many many reasons.
Or they admit they stole the land apologies for the crimes of their ancestors and agrees to a two state solution. How that would look is for both parties to decide on but definitely West Bank and Gaza would need to be increased in size as both are realistically to small for the populations that live inside of them.
Both solutions would require a peace treaty between all Palestinian sides and Israel. End to Israeli occupation. Freeing of all hostages/prisoners by Israel and all Palestinian groups.
Free movement of all inside Palestinian/Israel not check points and board patrols etc.
This solution is workable if done in a fair way and includes Hamas/Palestinian organisations Israel deem as terrorist. Trying to work this solution in an unfair way and without all Palestinian factions is the reason in the past this solution has always failed.
For example it is unreasonable to have two states with only Israel having an army. In the two state solution all armed Palestinian groups most cease and put down their arms. However in return the Palestinians most be able to form a normal armed force like other countries (with tanks, an airforce and a navy).
This solution would be the most beneficial to both sides in terms of security and economically.
