  1. While the Grove Street families are obviously against hard drugs like crack, they're perfectly fine with at least marijuana. This makes a LOT more sense when you realize San Andreas is basically a parody of California, which, in real life, is the state that's most involved in the debate of legalizing marijuana! Hell, Grove Street is probably fine in dealing drugs, but due to recent events and fearing dealers undermining their gang, they have taken a no drug dealing policy until the situation improves.

It's also because Sean "Sweet" Johnson truly believes that the gangbanging lifestyle will protect his neighborhood. I cannot blame him for how very corrupt the world is, especially in those crack epidemics.

  2. In the movie Blood in Blood out (1993) there’s also a similar situation. prison gang leader of the Mexican Gang “La Onda”;Montana wants to avoid the dealing of drugs because it would damage their character, meanwhile the Black & White prison gangs are doing just that & gaining more money & influence in prison as well as outside with their own contacts. That’s all I’ll say because it’s a good movie & I wouldn’t want to spoil it :3

  3. Sweet was the perfect example of certain black people from the hood including rappers : Ignorant to change. In fact, I don’t even call it “ignorance”. I call it “stupidity”.

  4. Imagine being a founder of a gang and your spin-off sets clap at you while you going to get some cheeks 😂😂😂.

This is an indictment of Sweet reing over the families and the GSF set.

Sweet was a clown, and an awful leader. I dont like the crack idea or wotking with the police direction that smoke went in, but honestly what choice did he have? Hes the #2 in an organization with an incompent leader who does NOTHING for the gang or the hood.

  5. Crack was hurting mothers And fathers, families.. gang banging was hurting only the gang bangers.. same as the Italian Mafia, they killed each other, not innocent people. And that's the way Sweet felt this way.

  6. I don't think Sweet was stupid to refuse crack. I think it was stupid to refuse the possible opportunities his siblings had built during his time in prison however. Like between music, gambling, and a garage/RC shop, plus all of that money, like we're talking jobs, possible homes that could be given to community members, rehab. Even if Sweet didn't get a boring 9 to 5 or help his siblings, he could've easy kicked back and watched as his community improved from jobs for individual members or kids being provided for with a Black Panther style community program! The Johnson siblings could've easily became legends in Los Santos and hell, maybe wipe out their rival gangs not through violence but mutual aid! Why be in a gang if you're already well supported? Ballas members could see the potential jobs and support then quit their life of violence and drugs.

  7. Hubs I like your content but when you said "the crack trade could improve the quality of life in the local community" I laughed.

Who do you think Crack dealers sell to? The local commmunity.

There isnt one community that crack is sold in that is better for it.

Drugs destroy communities because they create unproductive zombies who only want a fix. You remember how B-Dup had Bear as a servant? Imagine BDup is able to do that to 50 people instead of one. Now imagine a gang of 50+ with that power is unleashed on a community.

Drugs would've just accelerated the deterioration of the neighborhood, not saved it.
