  1. Hello dear Fivos!❤ I'm surprised he's so active being in such a terrible condition, he must have a strong spirit and strong desire to survive. Don't worry buddy, Papa Takis will do everything for you🙏😇🐶

  2. Fivos ❤, you're in good hands 🐕❤
Fivos reminds me of a cat who was eating out of my garbage, I had never seen such a skinny cat, his ribs were showing. I set a large bowl of cat food and water for him, he was so hungry he finished it all in front of me. I set out a second bowl, and he finished it too! Every day when I would get ready for work, there he was, and every day I gave him food and water. And every day he wanted to come inside, but I had a cat with kidney disease and I didn't want to let him in because I thought he had disease and would jeopardize my cat's health. The skinny boy was very sweet and gentle. One day, he came to the door as usual and passed out. I rushed him to the vet. He had a high fever and an infected wound.
He didn't have a microchip. I asked for blood work to check for disease, I told the vet I wanted to keep him, but I had to keep my cat with kidney disease safe. Blood work came back good. He was about 8 months old (vet determined by his teeth), and she gave him slow release antibiotic injection. I kept him at home but quarantined him for a week. He slept a lot.
He also needed to be neutered and vaccinated, but he was so weak and skinny that I waited for him to get to a normal weight first.
Eventually, he got better, but he was very scared of feet and hands. When I tried to pet him, he would squat down, ears pressed down and squeeze his eyes shut. He thought he was going to be hit. And he always looked at the floor, he wouldn't look up, only at the floor. It took weeks of me gently respecting his fear and giving him space, but I got him to look up by giving him treats 😊
I'd give him treats and say treats and shake the bag. So as soon as I'd shake the bag he'd come, he learned the sound of the treat bag, so I'd shake it next to my head, and he looked up for the first time! I was so happy, what a beautiful face ❤ and then I gave him treats.
I kept repeating this multiple times a day everyday after a few weeks, he stopped staring at the floor and began to look at us. Also, with hands, I put out my finger and let him smell it, then he would come for pets.I let him build trust, and now he loves my hands and feet, but it took months. I had to teach him to play, he was afraid to move, he was afraid to sit on the couch , chairs, bed. But slowly gently, I got him through it all.
The first time I invited him on the couch, he looked at me like, "Are you crazy? Do you know what happens if I go on the couch? I'll get beaten ." 😢🐈
But I kept inviting, slowly he put one paw on the couch, but then pulled back, I kept reassuring him, he tried again and slowly sat next to me. I spoke softly to him and showed him my finger, he pet my finger with his sweet little cheek and then pressed his little body against mine and purred for the first time ❤
Three years have passed, and he's a strong, confident, super affectionate
big boy. And funny, he plays and clowns around, he makes me laugh every day and when I wake up in the morning his beautiful little face is looking at me and he purrs. I adore him ❤
I learned so much from Jackson Galaxy and Vitoria Stilwell videos on YouTube, and that's how I learned to build his confidence and trust ❤🐈
