19. This reminds me of the cat that came up to me one time while I was outside with my nephew. This momma cat just came straight up to me. I couldn’t leave her outside and I brought her in. I figured she belonged to someone and I tried finding her owner. The next day I got word of a house where she was seen at a lot. I went over there with her to give her back if they were her owner. While I was over there I found kittens under the porch. She saw them and instantly wanted to be with them. She acted like their mom. The people didn’t answer the door. I picked up all of her kittens and took them inside with me. I went back over a few more times over the next few days and no one ever answered the door. I had to put the cats all down in the basement for the time being until I could find somewhere for them to go. I could not let them into the main part of the house because these cats were sick and I didn’t want my cat to be sick. My cat also attacks other cats and needs to be the only cat. Eventually after a week, I found a rescue for them to go to. The rescue got them all completely healthy and got them all spayed and neutered. Within a few months, all of them had forever homes. Honestly, I think that the momma cat was dumped. She was way too trusting and affectionate toward me on just her first sighting of me. She also didn’t get mad or defensive at me about touching her babies. If it wasn’t for me already having a cat that needs to be an only cat, I would’ve kept all of them.

24. This is ok if you are 100% sure that the cat is a stray. Its NOT ok to feed other peoples cat's or assume that they are strays. My cat has hyperthyroidism and someone in my neighbourhood started feeding her and making her ill. I put a collar on her with my phone number and put leaflets through everyone's letterbox to get this to stop. I still dont know who was doing it but it has stopped. It was very stressful.
