I agree, rabbits should not be locked in cages. As a primary school teacher I was asked by the school to borrow a rabbit for the school from an animal farm so the children of all the classes could take it in turns to learn about rabbits. He stayed in my class some of the time and his cage was just a small one, so I let him loose on a sofa I had in my class. He hopped around happily and tried to dig with his paws. I realised he should not be in a cage and the sofa was a poor excuse for some freedom. I was glad when I could take him back to the animal farm.
Hi! How's Chester doing one year later? (Feb 12, 2024) Happy Valentine's Day to you all! You're a pro with the syringe; I STILL can't master it with my tiny dog of 10 years!
"watch your banana'…. <lmao> heheheheh
We (humans) are so influenced by "how everyone does it" that we don't see what is right before our eyes. Rabbits are built to run and jump, yet we put them into hutches where they can't do either. I'm always grateful to see someone "discovering" how bright and happy a rabbit allowed the freedom it needs can flourish and express joy in life and bond with us fooling two-leggers.
AWWWWWW….
What a cool story! âĨ
I bet the animal kingdom is very harmonious if they are well fed and loved.
I had a rabbit years ago and I couldn't stand to keep it locked in a cage, so I rigged up the hall bathroom to give her more room. On the weekends, I rigged up the deck so the rabbit couldn't escape and there, she made friends with my cats. One particularly gorgeous day, on my way to work, I didn't have the heart to leave this poor rabbit cooped up in the bathroom all day, so I set her free in the yard. She ended up an outdoor bunny for the next 1 1/2 years, running free, still getting fed and still cuddling up with her feline friends. When I yelled, 'Kitty, Kitty', she came running with the cats for her treat, usually a Ritz cracker. Everybody loves Ritz. In the end, I think a snake or a spider bit her, because she suddenly got sick and died before I could get her to the vet. But at least she knew freedom for awhile, which is more than some people can say.
I have one question, is he litter trained?
could be the name of a popular doujin
I saved him but at the same time he saved me. A true human animal relationship â¤

what a wonderful rabbit, I also already have two rabbits, but for now Iâm afraid to let them out because there are so many animals so as not to scare them
Of course the donât belong into cages. Do they live in cages in the wild?
Chester is adorable! But , I must wonder? Where does Chester do his business(poo)? Is he like a cat and has a litter box? Seriously!
what kind of spine problem did he have? (cute bunny)
I had a rabbit as a kid.
He bit chunk out the tip of my finger.
I have no memory of him after that.
My younger sister got a rabbit.
Her rabbit and our cat were best friends.
I was hoping they'd have Cabbits.
But I found out cats and rabbit can't mate.
Especially when they're the same sex.
But what do you do about the poop/pee?
Crack bunny… Arrest that vet for dealing.
cats and dogs over rabbits all day everyday and its not even a discussion about it.
đyes very happy bun bun
XOXOXOXO Blessings!!
What a sweet owner. Do rabbits potty train??
fr smells the dad's fear
magnificent
All ok until you eat your cornflakes and raisins and then start wondering whether they were really raisins.
Amazing. We have cottontailed rabbits here in northern Colorado, and some will come up to us for some Honey Wheat bread, which is a big treat to them.
THE STRETCH… awww
How adorable is this. Makes me want one but l have to askâĻ.how do you potty train a rabbit ?
What do you do bout the poop tho
What a little sweetheart.
No animal belongs in cages.
I had a rabbit for 10 years – there is no way to cage these wonderful creatures. He always greeted me and my partner (now my husband) whenever I came home. He watched TV with me and wanted to spend time with me all the time. He was perfectly toilet trained and hated when his litter box was full.
Wonderful.
Dogs that senses when a person is afraid of them, double down to show theyâre friendly, maybe Chester is doing the same with her dad trying to make him love him?
He is liking your face not kissing it đ¤Ž
I had mine and first thing he did was go chew holes in curtains
geo beats animals???
He's grooming you it's a sign of love and affection
We had a rabbit, Dont get me wrong he was a lot of fun but they do need pretty much 24hour super vision if you dont want them ruining the place
I too had a beautiful, velvety soft, fat bunny named Thumper. He didn't kiss my face or run around like this rabbit…he just loafed around the house (he was a free range rabbit) but he was the BEST bunny I could ever ask for. I had him from when he was about 6 wks old until he was 13 yrs old. Watching this video and reading these comments made my heart happy…I love and miss you Thumper everyday…you were the best and mommy loves you and will see you one day!
This vid reveals a great deal about the humans who brought this rabbit into their home. Their reactions to its antics show them to be extremely open-minded and kind-hearted.
>Back flips off the couch
>He has a spinal injury
Bless you- no animal belongs in a cage, thanks for sharing your story
