  1. I live a mile from there. I can't believe I didn't hear it. So sad. They had a beautiful convoy on 28 earlier for Trevor Brown the fallen Fire Fighter.

  2. these reporters are scum. All they care about is asking questions for their network. Someone just died have some respect and dignity sheesh.

  3. Do you really need to ask them how they feel about losing a brother? I mean come on dude — show some class in your reporting. That was uncalled for — you can tell he's having a hard time keeping it together. We all know the answer to losing a loved one.

  4. I am not a Firefighter …

Firefighters run into HELL with an AXE for a weapon, pull souls out to EMT's who will have an adrenaline fueled focus on saving their lives while racing to a Hospital … While the Firefighters GO THE F BACK IN!! There are true hero's left in this Country.

  5. “How are feeling right now that this is one of your firefighters?”
The reporter should be ashamed of asking that ridiculous question.
The chief looks devastated & is holding back tears. Unbelievable.

  6. I'm sincerely impressed by the fire chief's professionalism during this press briefing on the Sterling, Virginia explosion. His ability to communicate clearly and maintain composure under tragic circumstances truly highlights the incredible strength of our first responders.
