    尊氏は天皇の愛妾を籠絡して、天皇と護良親王の関係を割いて、護良親王は反逆の罪で幽閉されることになります。

    Ashikaga Takauji is a complex figure that troubles historians. He was a pacifist, charismatic, not ambitious, immensely popular with the people of his time, and one of the strongest military talents in Japanese history.
    And It is a historical fact, too that Prince Moriyoshi, who fought Hojo for seven years for his father, Emperor Godaigo, was so afraid of Takauji that he attempted to assassinate him.

    The art direction though ! The scene at 2:51 has become my FAVOURITE transition across all Animes and also the sequence at 3:25 of Genba running is amazing….you can see the 'Body horror' kinda vibes as we see Genba's leg muscles and skeleton in the shadow. This show has such Strong drawings of characters and background and the transition and depiction of power is Magnificent
