In all my years as a paranormal researcher I still can't understand why people walk around in the dark while trying to get evidence of a haunting. Spirits are active all day and night. It's not as if they're sleeping all day then wake up late at night to walk around haunting a place. Most of the best evidence ever captured was during the daytime. Most photos and video captives happen randomly so it doesn't matter when you choose to ghost hunt. I think people do this to freak themselves out. They more scared they are the scarier their footage and the audience is thrilled watching it. But even if you do ghost hunt at night you can do it with the lights on… but it may not have the same effect on the audience.
The first one is just a google glitch you see them all the time when they badly stitch the images together. Spend enough time on google earth and you'll see a ton of those.
