Can you imagine hearing a cat meows from the sewage? Because for at least 3 days passerby going about their days were plagued by the haunting calls of a small orange cat. The orange cat looked up to the humans as if they were his last hope.
The kind humans were eager to help so they called in animal rescue workers. It took them 3 days to get there because they were busy with other animal rescue projects. They tried to open the sewage cover but it was sealed shut with cement. Curious about how the kitten got there, they went to another sewage cover nearby and as expected, they could open that one.
Not minding the smell or the dirty substance inside, the man climbed inside the sewage hole. Wanting to rescue the poor kitten. He also spotted an uneaten canned of cat food. Someone had probably been there hoping to rescue the kitten.
The smart kitten ran towards the rescue worker meowing non-stop, wanting to be finally freed from the confines of the sewage walls. But the man couldn’t get to the cat and he was worried that he would scare the cat to run deeper inside the tunnel. So he device a plan.
He dropped a rope inside and captured the kitten. Then, he quickly ran down the sewage hole and grabbed the kitten. The kitten was scared but unharmed when finally pulled up to the surface. It’s an animal rescue success! The kitten will be taken to the vet for a checkup and then adopted. Let’s hope he doesn’t get up to mischiefs again.
