I didn't realize that pillow cases for trick or treating were retro… My kids will take them because they hold way more
I loved going to the rich houses on the hill to get full sized candies! 😅❤
Where my grandma's house there was a house that gave big candy in the neighborhood
The sad thing about the "poison in the candy" rumor is that it's really just the urban legend version of a terrible story of a real man who poisoned his own kids on halloween. It hasn't really been known to be done by people participating in regular trick or treating, but it changed to holiday forever & erased the real victims.
The costumes are cute lol ❤
Same year ghostbusters released
Gen Z here. I once used a pillow case as a bag and people were surprised telling me “No one does that anymore”.
I can feel how sweaty and hot the mask is already ❤❤ Good times thanks for the flash back 🎃🎃🥹
MY MOM WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT HOW SHE WAS A HOBO FOR HALLOWEEN WHEN SHE WAS A KID BC HER MOM DIDNT WANNA PAY LOL
Born in 77 but never went trick or treating without parents and cousins! I was fun for ALL the family! I ALWAYS took my kids trick or treating. Until 14-15! Same town Just 38,000 More people! 600-700 people lived here during my childhood years. Now today we’re almost at 56,000 Taking me 1 hour and 10 minutes to go to work 13 miles 1 way! Quit moving here. This town is small! They are building apartments In the grocery store parking lots. Tearing our old buildings down to build for the wealthy and rich Quit ! 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Sigh, due to foreign parents, I’ve never experienced the joy of trick or treating 😩
You definitely got the awkward but proud and very memorable Halloween photo with a friend down. 😉 I love seeing these types of older Halloween photos. I am sure we have rouge ones in my parents attic besides the one they keep on their fridge. 😂
I did the hobo costume for a couple of years 😂😂😂
Love it ❤
Drugs are expensive those were not given out for free. If it was to get kids addicted to it. They would have had to know what it was and how to get more. Razor blades was in like apples and shit. We always threw those away.
Your eye roll, as seen behind the Pink Panther mask. 🤔🤫😁 🙄
This isn't even a skit, we had this conversation every year in my house from 1988-1992:-)
everyone in the 70s had a hobo halloween
The clipped on Pink Panther costume 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You are adorable
No one was wasting their drugs on kids trick-or-treating! 😂
Those plastic masks melted our faces😂
I had the barbie costume
Oh to be free, no parents, just us kids roaming the town (I lived in a tiny town) those days were great!!
The days when you could go by yourself and with friends. ❤🇺🇸❤🇺🇸❤🇺🇸
