  1. I had kind of the same situation. I rescued my cockatoo. When he was a baby, he was in the hands of the wrong people. They looked at him like a $$ instead of a living being. They kept him in a really tiny cage in their garage, and kept it covered. He had no human contact. Another previous owner thought it was funny that he "knew the sound of a McDonald's bag". I could throw up that makes me so sick.. He was absolutely TERRIFIED of people. He kept getting passed along by people who either didn't want him or were afraid of him. I was like 1 of 3 people he didn't scream at everytime he saw. Fast forward, 3 years later, I got him to enjoy pets, kisses, and human contact where he's no longer afraid of humans or their hands. Eventually, I even got him to step up. He was ten when I got him, so he never learned to speak since he was kept covered in a tiny cage by himself in sometimes garage. But he's so happy now, and his feathers are gorgeous and full and healthy.❤

  2. Hello there, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing ever. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up, and died on the cross for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life.He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life to be God's child. John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?

  3. Just a question: isn't his beak too long and needs a trim, too? I'm happy you're taking care of him and hope he'll be able to move his wings more in the future

  4. I am glad Luis found someone to love him. You can see that he is sad and has had a really tough life. Bravo to him for being able to trust again. That takes such courage. I agree with you that even the best life you can give a parent in captivity is a poor lifecompared to their life in the wild, but this is the world we live in and we only do our best. Keep up your good work. He is a sweet, sweet fellow and obviously loves you very much. Your video really touched my heart.😊

  5. I don't know who you are, but you are a true saint!!! It should be against the law nation wide to have these poor babies as pets. Rescued from abuse, another story. There wouldn't be animal abuse if we made some serious changes ! Thank you for being a whole hearted good person!!!!!!!
