I have narcolepsy with cataplexy, and it can be very frustrating to try to explain what it’s like to people who have never seen narcolepsy in real life, and how much of a struggle it can be. Most people think that it’s funny until they see what actually happens, or they are completely unprepared and get really scared and panic.I filmed this by accident, and it was really weird to go back and watch later from an outside perspective. I am posting this video as a way to help educate people, so please no trolling. Just like people with epilepsy, I can’t control having a sleep attack or cataplexy any more than they can control having a seizure. Thank you for your understanding.
And in case you were wondering what I kept looking at, I had the choreography written out next to the camera so that I wouldn’t lose my place in the dance.

Bruh you died
This is severe narcolepsy it isn’t typically this bad.
That is scary! She fights it like a true badass!
This broke my heart…..This is very emotional to watch.
Your a trooper. If I was in your situation I would give up. I love how you keep fighting and fighting. There’s wasn’t a time where you gave up in this video. This is my first time watching you and I love you already.
ILUV ur vid; u r So Amazing ?? ty 4 share
wow, these cataplexic attacks are very different to what I am used to witnessing. my mother is narcoleptic which I strongly believe she's inherited through her fathers genes. id love to learn more about the medications you have tried as my mother was subject to different treatments due to the severity of her condition. kudos to you for putting yourself out there and educating others, I've witnessed how frustrating this illness is.
May the universe bless your soul, I'm happy to see you fighting threw this seems very hard to deal with. I hope the best for you and anyone fighting similar issues??
One of my friends has some heart problems and she used to faint very often. It was scary bc one time I caught her as she fainted while going up the stairs. It would have been very bad
The fall looked like it hurt are you ok? I’m sorry that ppl made fun of you you are very brave for posting this!
The music is unnecessary
I just need to sleep all the time at the moment, random times and sometimes all day. So sleep for 8 hours, wake up and then after a few hours time to sleep again. So if I get stressed, then no sleep for me. Cataplexy looks like real fun as well, so happy to live without that one.
She would be perfect for Quagmire, giggity.
No way you have the balls to keep going.
This is awesome to see all the positive comments but I only have one question what happens if you just go lay down would you sleep all day or would it help with it happing so much i feel like it would make it hard to do daily task sleeping so much but hope you find ways to control it better but still one bad ass
Imagine a narcoleptic and an insomniac couple oh god
?
When she fell and had a sleep attack I was so surprised. This must be so frustrating to have. You are so strong for fighting it, keep going ???
Yup badass!!!!
Do you need to wear a helmet to protect your head?
What a crippling thing this is…you are so brave and determined.❣️
Sending love to you xxx. Keep on fighting ? you are inspiring on the next level. Never give up.
i wish no one had to suffer like this, i hope it have gotten better for you and that the problems are as minimal as posiible.
Maybe i missed it..but how does she support her self financially?
Oh my goodness that must be hard to deal with. I have chronic fatigue and that is hard but nothing compared to what your going through. Xxx
This is my first time hearing about the illness i hope ur safe and just know ur a instpriton for others to be strong ^^
I was in class with a girl with narcolepsy. She was constantly feeling weak because she never really got full, restful sleep and her immune system was pretty much shot. I can’t imagine saying you want to see someone pass out because you think it would be funny to just see someone randomly fall asleep
Very inspirational. God bless and fight on!
I’m sorry just by the video you can see you trying so hard to stay awake for me I have asthma and when I get stressed I have to ask to sit outside the classroom and try to clam myself down by myself cause my asthma will not let me clap down so it’s sucks and ya
Dang, that is one heck of a cross to carry. Sorry that you have to go through this.
I feared a little for your head when you felt in sleep after the first cataplexy attack and the second sleep attack while you were sitting on ground. Did you found yourself onground sometimes and hurt after attacks? I´m really sorry for you and hope that you meanwhile found a good treatment to help you. Stay strong
You're sooo strong!
God bless you!!!
RIP treba ti dobro jebanje zeno.
Omg this video had me crying I wouldn’t wish this to happen o my worse enemy I wish the best for you and for all the people who laugh y’all are going to hell and y’all should be ashamed and in dempt to y’all self only the people who thought it was funny
Man, the cataplexy looks even worse than the narcolepsy. Great work powering through it.
The human brain is a fascinating thing
Who would laugh at this?
I'm scared to think what happen to you when you are outside..
Very strong woman .
