  1. Well, the apple product did have marks earlier, but at lvl 8 the Tissot had more severe damage. Although I must say, lvl 8 is super hard, I wore my old sapphire watch for nearly a decade, I had scratches everywhere but none on the clock face. And it was much cheaper than this apple crap.

  2. I bought a ceramic and sapphire apple watch years back. Wore it a whole year, bumped it – banged it- abused it. Never a scratch…. One day, it slipped off my bathroom counter, face down onto the tile floor. Shattered the sapphire…just like that. Never again…

  3. I have a Wenger watch that only cost me $250 and it has real sapphire.

I've been wearing it for 5 years and there's not a single scratch on it.

Why the fuck is it ok for apple to lie about one of their watches being made from sapphire and make people pay $1300 for it?

And why the fuck aren't they punished by the law for false advertising?

It literally doesn't cost more than $50 for them to add real sapphire.

The greediest company in human history.

  4. What I am thinking is that I rather get the regular version and buy a nice automatic watch for myself.
Or you know, skip that. I would just get a nice automatic watch.
