Rescue video and transformation of an amazing brave senior dog who’s never lost hope that one day someone will come & save him. Howl Of A Dog rescued Charlie from a public shelter. This old dog has been only a statistic his whole life, no name, just a number printed on his ear tag. Charlie is around 8 years old and has had a tough life, never knowing affection or a kind word. He spent more than 2 years, confined to a cage, never being taken out for a walk. He was weak and emaciated, being unstable especially on his hind legs. His skin was terribly itchy from the bites caused by the thousands of fleas and lice hiding in his fur and he was scratching continuously.
He has made a beautiful recovery and he promises to reward his adoptive family with years of unconditional love and devotion.
He’s a very gentle dog, so friendly and loving with everyone.
He’s medium sized, approximately 18 kg (40 lbs), and has been neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

I am so glad that "Charlie" found a "forever home". WHEN I was a kid I had a dog…looked like "Charlie".
I cannot adopt a dog…I want to but I live in a Condominium. In Los Angeles. My boyfriend walks his LandLord's dog every day….my boyfriend lives in Washington DC….BTW?? I'm a guy. I can adopt a cat…I once had a cat…he was a special guy….his name was "Niko".
His eyes are soft and welcoming, with a look of hope. Sweet dog.

That’s awesome. But don’t they feed the dog in the pounds there? I’m not understanding why he was still so thin?
I thought you had made a mistake when you said he was 8 years old. When you put him in the car his face & eyes looked like the face & eyes of a young puppy. But after his bath I can see the gray on his face, but he still has puppy eyes. Young & so very much alive. How absolutely wonderful you took him from there. He looks so happy now! You saved his life. Absolutely you did & thank you so much for doing that. I will hope he finds a wonderful forever home.
I did go to the site and see Charlie was adopted by a lovely lady in the USA. However please know you can also kill a dog by over feeding. Charlie is very overweight now. If his owner or a friend reads this someone should tell her she needs to cut way back on the food until her dogs are a healthy weight. Please:)
