– On our feeding round found this dog that we feed daily. Hadn’t seen him for a few days.This morning we found him passed out on the road side.
Eye is missing and a big hole in the upper nasal area. I tried to catch him with placing a towel over his head, he took off. Not fast, as he’s limping and probably have a few broken legs.
Called in my team so we could safely take him to our clinic.
The wound full of maggots that slowly was eating themselves into his visible brain.
Probably hit by a car and left to die.
What a sad world we live in.
Doesn’t all life’s matter?
Seems like Lion have been shot in the leg!! According to the x-ray it looks like led in the leg. If a fracture it would be more calcium around the fracture.
It could be that the wound at the eye also is caused by someone shooting him.
He’s been moved to our clinic now, as he was very stressed in the crate at the other clinic. He’s on painkillers.
He’s eating and drinking by himself.

SO, so sad…WHY all the abuse, neglect and total indifference towards dogs, any animals ?? Why are human beings the ONLY ONES who are destroying all the things that REALLY matters ?? Dogs knows SO much more about humanity than so many of us ever will….I´m SO happy that you saved him, took the effort and time that no one else did………..once again Thank You !!

One of my favourite sports is shooting street dogs. I do not shoot to kill, but to main. Much more fun.
