ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From Michael Schur, executive producer of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Parks and Recreation,” comes a smart, unique new comedy that follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, “House of Lies,” “Veronica Mars”), an ordinary woman who, through an extraordinary string of events, enters the afterlife where she comes to realize that she hasn’t been a very good person. With the help of her wise afterlife mentor (Ted Danson, “Bored to Death,” “Cheers”), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and discover the awesome (or at least the pretty good) person within.

The Trolley problem: There is no right answer.
But Eleanor is the answer.
when ur teacher asked you this question in religion class
I love how Chidi’s got human remains on him and Micheal is like:
“So, What Did We Learn”
So he already said there is no right answer
The Trolly Part is good…
But the Doctor scene after is comedy gold.
(And yes it’s not relative in this video)
Yeet
Poor Chidi died because he didn't decide on where to have a drink. And then an A.C fell on his head when he was standing there getting a stomach ache
Wait whatt.. I watched the seasons, and I don’t remember watching this, which season and episode is this?
0:22 god that's just a smile that screams "Oh, this motherforker…"
The real dilemma is HOW DO YOU KILL ALL 6 PEOPLE AM I RIGHT GUYS??
He didn't do the multi-track drifting to get that 6 player kill streak.
If you're a philosophy professor that doesn't know their personal answer to the trolley problem you have issues
Love this cast so much
it was the time to make the decision not just speak, time to implement.
also, extra points for "TJ Marx", moments before collision, aerial view
Love this scene so much and how it relates to S2
I love this so much. And, yes, partly because I’ve taken a philosophy class, thank you for asking.
I actually like the idea of forcing a real world practical example. I mean ethics that isn't tested is pointless.
Even those who claim that they would pull the lever, kill 1 to save 5, might hesitate to actually pull the lever if actually presented with one.
Stop breaking the law
If that would of happened u you would be pissed
personally, i love everything about this episode and the series as a whole but here's the thing, though. he explicitly said there is no right answer. so what good would it do to play it out in real time?
Lucky there was no wrong answer.??
"My name is Kierkegaard and my writing is impeccable, check out my teleological suspension of the ethical"
Who has two thumbs?
The 5 workers that thumb downed the video!
No decision is a a decision.
You always have to decide before time

OMG – there is an episode I missed!!! yay!
Season what?
What episode was this
in which episode did this happen??? pretty sure didnt miss an episode but i just cant seem to remember this :((
easy: push the 1 worker out the way and sacrifice yourself.
The trolley doesn't have brakes?
Would it be considered a crime i.e manslaughter, if Chidi had changed the track?
Where was this shot? Why were the extras and cars selected to look like an early 1960s period setting? Was this some set that was already being used for a movie?
I just noticed the cinema is showing Strangers under a train and Bend it like Bentham.
The answer is you kill the one. What we learned is that given a situation where the person deciding wasn't the cause of the situation, that person isn't gonna want to kill anyone. That being said, if you can't make this call in a spilt second, you shouldn't operate a car.
Just switch the track and push the one person out of the way or yell at them to move.
This clip makes me realize Chidi is the LAST person you'd want as an ethics professor. Ethics is about making decisions, choosing what is and is not the right thing to do and then living by those moral standards.
Chidi…can't even decide which hand to throw in Rock-Paper-Scissors.
"Strangers Under a Train"
"Bend It Like Bentham" (Jeremy Bentham, moral philosopher best known for his theory of utilitarianism"
ahahaha! I love this show.
Chidi forgot to dangle a large blade out the side to kill the last worker.
Anybody else notice what the movie theatre sign said?
Nag-uupuan tayo sa…
Now, you know!
Shh! A monster train!
Oh god I LOLed
This is what you get for running your mouth Chidi
