This dog just came in and has got to be one of the worst (if not THE worst) cases of matting and neglect we’ve ever seen.
The entire clinic has filled with the smell of ammonia from this poor, miserable soul.
We are going to sedate him so we can free this dog from its own prison.
We have named him Miles.
It’s taking some time and patience, but Miles is starting to realize life can be good!
He was overwhelmed at first, but he’s starting to play, and he even started nudging an arm for an extra cuddle. We are so proud of this brave boy!
Miles is always smiling – he’s loving his new life!

Looks like the dog had dreadlocks, should start a clinic that goes around collecting surfers and potheads then shaving their dreads, improving their quality of life.
