Khulfa-E-Rashideen Series – How was Quran compiled in the form of book
The revelation of the Quran began in 610 when Jibreel A.S first appeared in front of Muhammad S.A.W in the cave of Hira near Mecca, reciting to him the first verses of Surah Al-Alaq. Throughout his life, Muhammad S.A.W continued to had revelations from Allah until before his death in 632. The Quran as it is known in the present, was first compiled into book format by Zayd ibn Thabit.
