Casey Affleck and Elisabeth Moss star in the edge-of-your-seat survivalist thriller Light of My Life. A decade after a plague has wiped out nearly all of the world’s female population, a father (Affleck) and daughter live on the outskirts of what’s left of civilization as they once knew it. Disguising his daughter as a boy, the father struggles to protect her from newfound threats as they are forced from their home into dangerous territory.   1. How scary if that happens in real life of the world with males and less females. Women/ girls will do what it take to protect themselves.

    Not all of them are mean though and can be trusted also. Including our friends

  2. This was overall a pretty boring movie. I think IMBD giving it a 6 out of 10 was generous. While the filming was beautiful and the acting was good, the plot itself was boring and slow. If you like slow paced movies, you may enjoy this. For me it was a 4.5 out of 10.. Just not worth the hour+ wasted and certainly not the $2.99 to rent. I'm not looking for James Bond or the Walking dead, but the movie "The Road" was a theme park rollercoaster in comparison.

  3. Literally the first 12 minutes are him laying in his tent with his daughter telling her a story, nothing else happens. I'm already regretting the $2.99 spent..
