  1. Great. Now animal activists are going too get up-in-arms over bugs, and the agenda thats being pushed about eating only bugs will go down the tubes as not "progressive" enough.

  2. What A sweet lady!! A woman after my own heart! I love all living things, except mosquitoes, ticks, botflys, parasites etc…you know, the thugs that speed disease,,,,,but I respect and want to help all the critters!! I admit to having a habit of anthropomorophising many of them tho!! LoL
Everyone should learn about our beautiful world and all the amazing species that are in nature, you will never run out of fantastic things to learn about and it can only serve to create so much love in you for mother nature!!

  3. I saved a geasshopepr today. He or SHE had the same problems as the grasshooper here. it was missing a hind leg and ir was scared i put it in a little jar i gave jt some grass im playing to make a bigger and better place for it

  4. Every time a rescue animals has a bad leg, it always gets amputated. I'm looking at this grasshopper repeatedly reaching out at that leg and thinking it must be in pain. Imagine taking it to the vet and asking them to do surgery, lol.

  5. That's the sad part about having a pet bug or having a close connection with a bug.. they don't typically have a very long lifespan compared to us. Good thing she gave the grasshopper a nice life though ?

  6. This particular species is a differential grasshopper! I've kept many many of them throughout my life, they make wonderful friends! It's not uncommon for them to even live partially into the winter when kept in captivity! One year I had one live halfway through January. I'm so glad the one in the video found such a wonderful lady to spend the rest of her life with!

  7. Beautiful story. Late last fall I found a grasshopper and googled about it. I read that it would not survive winter so I did everything I could to make it as comfortable as possible. Now I wish that I brought it in.

  8. If the grasshopper chirped, then it’s a male grasshopper. Because only male grasshoppers can chirp. And the girl says that it lays eggs, so she couldn’t have noticed the grasshopper by it chirping. Got anything to say?
