PANGOLINS
The name “pangolin” comes from the Malay word pengguling, meaning “one who rolls up”.
Unfortunately Pangolins are one of the world’s most trafficked mammal. Aside from humans pangolins’ main predators include lions, tigers and leopards. Often, though, rolling up in a ball is enough to outwit the big cats, as a pangolin’s keratin scales are too hard for even a lion to bite through.
However they are now critically endangered as the scaly mammal is hunted for its meat and scales, which are in high demand in some Asian countries. Pangolin meat is considered a delicacy while its scales are used in traditional medicine.

People believe the scales arthritis and , promote breast-feeding for lactating mothers, improve poor circulation, and even enhance male vitality — despite no scientific backing for any of these “.” In fact, scales are made of keratin — the same material in human fingernails.

Pangolins are mini-fortresses with legs. Their front claws are very lethal. Hate to be caught in a pangolin's grasp.

Sadly, its been well documented that many Chinese (age 40+), will often take everything they come across that is edible, as a matter of course. There was no concept in their formative years, of preserving for the future, when it comes to food. I'm told its because so many starved after the communist takeover. We see it here in the US in the form of massive over representation of Chinese charged with poaching violations, nation wide!
It's about time that Chinese traditional "medicine" was outlawed by the Chinese government, and all other nations!!
