🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Check out the this ethnic group in Northern CA. Love the food and culture! You just have to experience and make up your own decisions
We know you came Thuyen to America stop hiding her
LMAO brother with the alot.
Here in Brazil we call those birds as "galinha da angola" usually people eat them in a broth!
Proud to be hmong 😁, Sonny thank you for showing the world about us hmong people in different countries. Even tho we are spread out but we're still holding our hmong culture everywhere. I love the boil pork and chicken myself. Everytime when i go out to family religious gather "Ua Neeb or Hu plig" as we called it in america (Jingle Bell) my favorite is the bile soup in hmong words "Siab Iab" (bitter liver). I am very happy to see all my hmong culture seeing in this channel, we've come a long way.
What a great episode, Sonny!
Awesome video! This is my bfs friends and it’s nice to see that they’re still keeping this traditional still especially with the new young generation sprouting each and everyday!!!! ♥️♥️
I now have hope for America’s future again, I wish I had family like this.
Shit is the special seasoning 🤢
I felt sorry for the 'unfortunate' pig that got caught and eaten. In its next life, it will be the fastest running pig because of this experience 😀
What an amazing video! I love how the family continue to carry their traditions ♥️
Yo u still fat here
I'm asian too and I like how my mom and aunts don't really have recipes for their dishes. Sometimes they cook just really well. Sometimes, though, it's mindblowing. But everytime is different and it adds to the charm of asian/"grandma" cooking.
I want to visit there 🤤
Oh damn I know those guys 😂
I’m not Hmong but I’m smiling and loving this. You can find almost every other culture from the world in the USA.
Awesome episode..
This is very impressive. I never knew this was going on here in America. Not like this at least. But right on!!!!. Cheers from Cali 🙂 . Also- this is just another reason why I live America. Cuz anybody from anywhere in this world can settle down and build a great life and still be able to keep their traditions, if they want to. Nobody forces anybody to have to assimilate. We for the most part enjoy learning about others cultures. Basically, as long as u r a nice and good person, that is all that matters.
I live in Wisconsin and have been to a Hmong gathering. They have amazing food and culture!
You keep taunting me, Hmong is very close to Human though, hopefully, one day you will get that treat you just can't beat, we call it human meat.
I'm from Africa, and roosters, turkeys or ducks got nothing on those guinea fowl birds in terms of noise. 4:30 Great History lesson.
The last dish is the best. If you Hmong and you killed pig/cow and throw away all those stuff, you will be disowned 🙏😂
So they helped USA attackers soldiers, to attack their own country in Vietnam war?! and they proud of that?! I don't understand
Yum. Grew up on that farm.. great times.. 👍 🇺🇸

This is what makes the US a great country, the constant influx of new people from all over the world, bringing their culture and talents to help make us better. Thank you so much for this awesome content!
I lost it when she said " Be HUMBLE " after he critiqued every one of her families dishes. TRY HARDER!!! 🤣😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤
I just visited Wisconsin!! I wish I could’ve see this earlier
We raise these Guineas
Please, PLEASE visit the Hmong community in Fresno, CA for the New Year holiday. I'm as Caucasian as they come, but I plan on traveling to Fresno for the celebration this year (I am about 2 hrs away) because you have introduced me to this amazing community of people.
