I live an hour from El reno and I can confirm it's always hectic there
Since I’m a Iowa resident when I was 6 years old in 2006 a EF5 Tornado Went through 16 Towns and 2 cities
Ive seen a handful of tornados in my life but the joplin tornado was by far the worst ive seen with my own eyes
Great video! Anyone who sees this comment should google the 2004 Hallam Tornado and see a great picture that was taken during a lightning strike that lit up the tornado when it was at it's full size.
Additionally, Dan Robinson has a video of himself barely escaping the 2013 El Reno tornado, and you get a chance to see a clearer picture of that tornado at full size as well. Crazy thing is that you see Tim Samaras following behind him earlier in the video, but then at one point it switches back to his rear camera again, and the headlights are gone….very chilling stuff.
Just remember, if a tornado looks like its not moving, its probably heading right for you so run

At least one of these tornadoes on the list needs replaced, the Bassfield/Soso Tornado of 2016 was 2.25 miles wide at it's peak.

Everyone forgets the hackelburg tornado in 2011, it was an F5 that was on the ground for 134 miles!
Im in Oklahoma and in the last 4 days there has been two tornados
I’m pretty sure the “EF” scale wasn’t a thing until after May 3rd 1999. Before then, it was just “F”

the 2011 Tornado in Joplin hurled debris far and wide. I live 120 miles East of Joplin, close to Springfield Missouri ,personal effects and debris landed in my pasture, photo's etc. sad day.
Ive been face to face with a tornado in Tennessee and later that day me and my family stood on the porch and watched a tornado eye form.
I was in the tornado in El Reno in Oklahoma a few years ago. It was 2 and a half miles wide. I was also in the Moore tornado that was a devastating F5
Dont let your gaurd down. 2.6 miles is not the biggiest a tornado can get..
