The poor impala got somehow stuck in the mud and couldn’t move- until a man driving by spotted him and decided to take action.
The man got out of his car, took his shoes off and got into the mud, trying to pull the impala out- he finally succeeded – the poor animal needed some time but after a while he got up and left.
Steve Haley, from Canterbury, who filmed the video, is a chef and a safari aficionado- he often visits the Kruger national park in South Africa, where the incident took place on 2nd of August.
He said: “I was on my own during an 8- week self safari where I take a tent, rent a car and camp in the park for 8 weeks.
